Project Management

All new commissions are considered in detail to ascertain the appropriate skills and level of resources that will be necessary to discharge the commission.

For each new project we form a team composed of a Project Director, a Project Co-ordinator and a Senior Design Architect. This team provides continuous service to the client from start to finish of the project, to establish and maintain the quality and integrity of each design.

The Project Director leads all the architects, planners and technical personnel assigned to the project and sets the standards for quality. A specific project quality plan is produced for all projects, large and small.

Day to day management of technical work and co-ordination of all professional disciplines is provided by the Project Co-ordinator, who assumes the key administrative duties, maintains the budgets and programme, and co-ordinates the entire work effort. To maximise efficiency, we utilise 'Primivera Suretrack'. This system provides a powerful scheduling, resource handling and costing features in a graphic environment.

The Senior Design Architect is responsible for the daily organisations and progress of all the design phases and directs the effort of the project teams to achieve the overall design intent.

As a project's specific needs or schedule may require, additional architects, planners, technical personnel and interior architects are assigned to augment the project team, during production phases of the work. This is achieved on our networked Computer Aided Design system, using AutoCAD software.
